Biography

Mrs. OSHINAME, Roseline M. joined the service of Bowen University Library, Iwo Osun State on 4th May, 2009 as Librarian II.  She is also certified by the Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), and an active member of the Nigerian Library Association (NLA) Osun State Chapter. She holds a first degree in Economics (B.Sc), Ekopma, Post Graduate Diploma in Statistics (PGDS), Masters in Medical Statistics and Epidemiology (M.Sc) and Masters of Information Science (M.Inf.Sc.), all from the University of Ibadan.

Mrs. Oshiname is an Academic Librarian, and has served in Bowen University library as Head, Information Resources and Access Management Division, Head, Cataloguing and Classification Unit and is presently Head, Information Access Management Section. She is a Cataloguer and presently the Circulation Librarian.

Oshiname, Roseline has researched in the following areas:

  1. Information Needs and Seeking Behavior of Nurses at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria.
  2. Reports Generation with KOHA Integrated Library System (ILS); Examples from Bowen University Library, Nigeria.
  3. Use of Library Resources by Undergraduate Students from two Tertiary Institutions in South West, Nigeria.
  4. Measuring Customers’ Satisfaction in Bowen University Library.
  5. Awareness and Use of Reference Managers by Resident Doctors in Nigeria

She is a dedicated Christian and happily married with five children (three boys and two girls).
