Tolulope Omotope Omolekan is a Nutritional and Industrial Biochemist with BSc and MSc
degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin Kwara State and University of
Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State respectively. He is a recipient of the prestigious (2019) Research
Training Fellowship for Developing Country Scientist (RTF-DCS) availed at the National
Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi, India. He is also a recipient of the 2015 Thomas
Bassir Basic Medical Foundation (TBBF) Seed grant availed at the University College Hospital
Ibadan Oyo State. He is a fellow of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry
India, and a member of Nigeria Society of Experimental Biology, Nigeria. He is uses tools in
Genetics and Molecular Biology to improve tolerance in plants and manage diseases in humans
through Integrated Nutrient Management Approach.
