Biography

Godwin O. Olutona is currently an Associate Professor of Analytical Environmental Chemistry in the Industrial Chemistry Programme of the College of Agriculture, Engineering and Sciences Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria. He holds Ph.D. in Analytical/Environmental Chemistry from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He visited Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town, South Africa as a research doctoral candidate in 2014. He received Master of Divinity (Theology) from the Nigeria Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomoso.

He is a certified teacher and has over a decade teaching and research experience at tertiary level. He has over 45 peer reviewed publications in international and local journals. His area of research interest are Environmental Pollution Monitoring, EIA. Toxicological studies and Biochar Technology. He is a member of Chemical Society of Nigeria and Executive Member of Biochar Initiative of Nigeria.  He is a Baptist minister with specialization in discipleship and mission.
