Olusegun.O.OLANIYI holds a Ph.D from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. His research interests are Economic and Social History of Nigeria with a special interest in Development studies. He has presented papers at different conferences and Workshops while his most recent article has been accepted for publication in Vol.11, No.2, 2020 edition of the Kaduna Journal of Historical Studies. Olaniyi is a fellow of Ife Institute of Advanced Studies and French Institute for Research in Africa (IFRA)
