Ayodeji, Olusegun IBITOYE is a Data Scientist, IT Consultant, Lecturer, and Techpreneur with zeal to make a difference. He completed his Ph.D., in Computer Science from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria in January, 2020. Ayodeji is a young researcher with passion for excellence and potentials to patent smart outputs using Machine and Deep Learning Models in Business Analytics alongside Data Science for Social Good/Impact. Over the years, his research in Big Data Analytics and Soft Computing paradigm have been applied in the areas of Churn prediction, Opinion Mining, Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, Knowledge Organization and Decision Support Systems.
Ayodeji remains an innovative and resourceful leader/researcher with great analytical and programming skills. He has won different academic scholarships and has several peered reviewed journals and conferences in his field of expertise. Ayodeji is a member of different professional bodies locally and internationally. He is a seasoned writer and inspirational speaker at conferences. Aside being a valuable member or different strategic committees of the University, currently, Ayodeji leads the team in the Directorate of Digital Services, (the ICT arm of Bowen University) will the vision to build a digital and responsive, smart and analytical driven University.
