Biography

Mr. J. O. David was born into a Christian family in Kogi State about five decades ago. After his elementary school education in Kogi State, he proceeded to A.B.U. Zaria for his first degree in Business Administration (with Actuarial Science option). He later went to University of Lagos and Bowen University for Masters of Science (M.Sc.) degrees in Operations Research and Business Administration (with Entrepreneurship option) respectively. He is currently rounding up his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programme in Business Administration department of Bowen University (with specialization in Entrepreneurship). His teaching career started in the early 1990s at the elementary school level. After a few years of teaching experience at primary and secondary school levels, he took up lecturing appointment at the polytechnic for about seven years before his first university appointment at Houdegbe North American University, Kotonou, Benin Republic from where he came to Bowen University, Iwo in year 2008.He is a Fellow and Member of Council, Institute for Operations Research of Nigeria, Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), Member, Institute for Supply Management, USA among others. He has more than 20 academic publications to his credit and he is happily married with children.
