Dr. C. J. Ajaelu attended the University of Ibadan where he bagged B.Sc in Chemistry (Industrial Option) M.Sc (Analytical Chemistry) and PhD (Chemistry). He joined the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry (presently Industrial Chemistry Programme) of Bowen University, Iwo Nigeria, as a pioneer staff. He is presently a Reader in the Department. He teaches physical chemistry courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research interest includes the kinetic, equilibrium and thermodynamic studies on the effect of various modifying agents on low –cost adsorbents for the adsorption of metals and dyes from waste – water and soil; viscosity, conductivity and density of binary and ternary solutions. He is currently the Chairman of the University Time Table and Space Allocation Committee as well as the Coordinator of Industrial Chemistry Programme in the College of Agriculture, Engineering and Sciences.
