Biography

 AWOYERA Funmilayo Evarista  is a very passionate, diligent, resourceful and result-oriented Individual who possesses a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and International Relations and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in History and currently enrolled for a Ph.D. programme in History at the University of Ilorin. With an enthusiasm for teaching and research she has worked in unison with other colleagues in impacting the required skills and knowledge in different educational Institutions in Anambra, Osun and Lagos as a Historian.  With specialty in Gender, Social and cultural History she recognizes the integral role of historical and contemporary education in bringing the necessary development in the Nigerian society.

She began her contributions to Bowen University in 2018 as an Associate Lecturer II in the Department of History and International Studies and now a confirmed Assistant Lecturer in 2020. She has participated in international conferences and workshop on academics and has been engaging in written works in different journals and community development activities.  She mastered the act of teaching in relation to the enrichment of student’s scholarly, social and innovative abilities.
