Biography

Dr Simeon Oyedemi Ajiboye is a Lecturer II and a level adviser in English Programme, Bowen University, Iwo. He joined the programme in 2016 as an assistant lecturer. His research interests are Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis. He teaches Studies in English Syntax, Discourse analysis, Varieties of English, English for Specific Purposes, Introduction to Grammar II, The Phonology of English, Research Methods in English Usage, Language and Style, Language and communication and an introduction to English Morphology and Syntax. His current area of research is Legal Pragmatics. Currently, he supervises students whose areas of focus are in English (Language option). He has published both in local and international journals.
