Biography

Dr. Adebola A. Aderibigbe is a highly resourceful member of staff in the largest Baptist University in sub-Saharan Africa – Bowen University. He has a remarkable history of excellent performance with unswerving commitments to the institution’s ethos. A pioneer graduate of Bowen University, Dr. Aderibigbe’s core value projections are excellence and Godliness in all manner of involvement within and outside the university in responsibilities and conducts. Heonce headed in acting capacity,the now defunct Department of Communication and Performing Arts, Dr. Aderibigbe is a Senior Lecturer in the College of Computing and Communication Studies – a college with three distinct programmes. He is member to numerous Standing and Ad-hoc Committees of the University and was the first Chairman, Committee on the Development of Bowen History where he served with huge commitments. He holds Fellowship of the Institute of Security of Nigeria and the Fellowship of the Institute of Corporate Administration. Additionally, Dr. Aderibigbe is a member of the Strategic Team of Bowen University (the team responsible for the drafting of the University Strategic Plan) and a member of the Repositioning and Rebranding Committee. He was recently appointed Director, Directorate of Students’ Support Services, formerly known as Student Affairs Division where he leads a team of committed staff members insupporting students.
