Biography

I am Funke Elizabeth Oyekan. I am a Biblical Studies scholar.

I was awarded the degrees, B.A., M.A., and PhD from the University of Ibadan. I am also a theologian with a Bachelor of Theology degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Louisville, Kentucky, U.S. A. (through the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomosho, Nigeria). In addition to these, I am a professional teacher with a National Certificate in Education from the St. Andrew’s College of Education, Oyo, Nigeria.

I’m a nice, fun and friendly person. I am a hardworking, reliable, and responsible individual. I am highly keen on punctuality and good time-keeping. I am confident working independently or as part of a team.

I have passion for charity in the areas of children, youth, family services and community development. I’ll be willing to be a volunteer when and where there is need for it.
