Adesoji Alani OLANREWAJU completed his doctoral programme in Chemistry (Ph.D Chemistry) from Bowen University, Iwo. He holds M.Sc. (Inorganic Chemistry) and B.Sc. (Chemistry) from the University of Ibadan and University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, respectively. He also obtained a National Certificate in Education from the Osun State College of Education Ila-Orangun. He visited University of Delhi, New Delhi, India as a research doctoral candidate in 2017.
He is a certified teacher with many years of teaching experience in Chemistry at various levels of High/Secondary Schools in Osun State, before advancing to tertiary institution. He joined the service of Bowen University in November 2013. He has been involved in teaching and practical demonstrations of Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry courses, supervision of students’ project and mentoring.
His area of research interest is synthetic inorganic, coordination and medicinal chemistry (mixed-ligand/drug metal(II) complexes, characterization and applications). He has ten publications in international and local journals. He is a member of Chemical Society of Nigeria.
