Biography

 Dr. Timothy Oyebamiji Ogunbode assumed duty at Bowen University, Iwo in October, 2005 as
an Administrative Officer. He, however, grew through ranks to the level of Senior Assistant
Registrar (SAR). In view of his quest for academics, and having completed PhD degree, his
request for conversion of his appointment to academics was granted and was appointed as a
Lecturer in Environmental Management and Crop Production Unit of Agriculture Programme,
College of Agriculture, Engineering and Science, Bowen University, Iwo in 2019. Dr. Ogunbode
attended Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife between 1989 and 1994 where he bagged his
first degree in Geography with Second Class Upper Division. He proceeded to the University of
Jos, Nigeria where he completed his MSc degree in Environmental and Resources Planning in
2004. In 2015, Dr Ogunbode completed his doctorate degree in Geography from the University
of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria with specialization in Environmental Management/GIS
application. His research areas include hydro-climatology/Water Resources, environmental
management. He teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He has to his credit over
twenty publications in various international peer reviewed journals. He is a member of the
Association of Nigerian Geographers and
International Association of Hydrology Sciences
(IAHS)
