FAMUTIMI Rantiola Fidelis holds BSc., MSc., MPhil and Ph.D degrees in
Computer Science. He had post graduate certificate in Software Testing and
Software Process Management from University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio
Campus. He is a member of Nigeria Computer Society (NCS). He has had
considerable experience in information systems’ design and implementation in
many industries as Computer Analyst, Programmer, and Systems Consultant
before joining the academia. He joined the academia as University Programmer
when he developed the University examination processing software and later
the University certificate processing system. This software made a sister
University to offer him a visiting programmer’s appointment to assist her in her
software implementation activities. After joining the academia, he still
maintains the software he developed for his employer as part of his community
development activities. Within the University community, he implemented full
accounting software for the University Investment and Cooperative Society and
still maintains it. He specializes in information systems, health informatics,
software engineering and databases. He has assisted in teaching some post
graduate students offering computer courses. He currently teaches computer
science courses in Bowen University Iwo Nigeria.
