Dr. Halleluyah Oluwatobi AWORINDE holds a teaching position with the College of Computing & Communication Studies, Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria and as well, a Research Fellow at Computing and Analytics Research Laboratory. Dr. Aworinde is currently the Director of Digital Services at Bowen University and as well, serve on several committees in the university.
Dr. AWORINDE is an alumnus of both Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso and University of Ibadan, Nigeria where he obtained B.Tech, MSc and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science respectively. His research bothers on Cognitive Computing and Intelligent Systems. He has more than thirty (30) publications in peer reviewed journals and referred conference proceedings with a growing citation on Google Scholar. He has successfully supervised about forty (40) undergraduate students’ projects. He is highly dedicated to knowledge acquisition and dissemination as he remains focused and diligent in his career development.
He is a co-investigator and team member of some grant sponsored research among several other external funding Awards. He is one of the 100 Computer Science Young Researchers selected throughout the world for the highly coveted 8th Heidelberg Laureate Foundation in Germany. He was privileged to be on the Data Study Group that modeled interactions driving breast cancer development at the prestigious Alan Turing Institute, London. He was one of the 112 participants at the Lisbon Machine Learning School, Portugal. He is a winner of Facebook sponsored Mechanism Design Contest amidst 97participants held at Ashesi University, Accra, Ghana in 2019. He won the 2020 AI Commons Best Problem Documentation Award worth USD1,000 and His poster presentation got the best poster award (2nd) at the 2020 Data Science Nigeria AI Bootcamp. Halleluyah Aworinde is the winner of Poster Prize at 2022 Deep Learning Indaba held at Tunis, Tunisia. He is a recipient of Google Africa Scholarship Grant.
