Dr. Abdul-Karim Olayinka Shitu had his undergraduate training in Medicine at the University of
Jos, graduating in the year 2008, with a distinction in Biochemistry. He had his postgraduate
training in Internal Medicine (subspecialty in Nephrology) at Ladoke Akintola University of
Technology Teaching Hospital and Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
He is Lecturer in the department of Medicine, with a specialty in nephrology. He has a flare for
interventional nephrology and transplant science. He is passionate about clinical medical
education and molding of future doctors.
He is devote Christian and is happy married with a daughter.
